Salt & Pepper Mills

The Esprit de Cuisine wooden mills will satisfy all design tastes thanks to the traditional charm and silky touch of wood, colourless varnish or vibrant lacquered colours.

The wood of our mills, shot in our workshops in the East of France, comes from forests of Franche-Comté.
Made mostly with solvent-free paints and varnishes, the finish of the wood mills meets the strictest environmental standards.

Designed and developed by our teams to avoid “tooth-on-tooth” friction, the ceramic mechanism of our mills offers robustness and resistance. On the other hand, it ensures a perfect grind in order to release all the richness of the flavours of pepper or to chisel the salt crystals. All our mills are assembled in our French workshops.

Esprit de Cuisine mills are designed to grind either salt or pepper. Your mill is equipped with a system to adjust the fineness of the grind according to your preferences.

If you choose to grind salt only use your mill with dry kitchen salts.
Considering the texture of the pepper, we advise you to grind the grains just before tasting.
Remember to keep your mill away from light and humidity. Clean with a dry cloth.
